An Emotional Journey
"Med-Surg RN PRO" gave me the boost of confidence I needed in my first year of nursing at a level 4 trauma center. We're all facing challenges and carrying our own burdens, so it was really nice to read some of the delicately placed and relevant bible passages towards the ending. I am in tears, this book has renewed my spirit. McGee is short, sweet, and straight to the point. The book was easy to read and it had so many valuable pieces of advice. For new grads, working the floor can seem daunting and overwhelming. It’s crucial to have accessible resources and mentors to guide you. McGee did a wonderful job encouraging readers while realistically preparing them for the heavy workload in med-surg. Great book with vital information to help new nurses to grow and become confident.
